E6 Poetry Collective at Newham Word Festival 2021

Friday 2 July, 6pm

All either hailing from or living in Newham, E6, The E6 Poetry Collective is made up of four Newham Council workers. 

Formed out of a writing workshop as part of last year’s Newham Black History Month, the group was inspired to keep writing and meet on a monthly basis to create new work around democratically chosen themes. 

Spanning topics including food, the outdoors, celebration and the catwalk, E6 Poetry Collective is delighted to contribute eight original poems to this year’s Newham Word Festival.

E6 Poetry Collective are: Sharleen Ferrol-Fulgence, Manjit Bansal, Patrick O’ Shea and Dominique Roome.
